You will be responsible for developing and winning new business opportunities and continually improve our market position across the Region. Your focus will be on the Dutch market. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you are familiar with the logistics market. At ease developing, acquiring and retaining new customers through both tenders , warm leads, cold prospecting, industry events and social selling. While developing your own customer portfolio, you also acquire a deep understanding of our clients problems and become a domain expert
Responsibilities and duties:
You actively approach potential customers;
You represent the client within various networks and looking to expand your customer portfolio;
Helping and guiding solutions engineers in developing logistics solutions with new businesses;
Coordinating and communicating internally to come to an appropriate offer;
After the tender you will be responsible for the contract handling;
First point of contact for the customer during the implementation phase.
Master/Bachelor degree in eg Supply chain, Commercial economy or Business administration;
At least 5 years of sales experience in Contract Logistics (this is required);
An extensive logistics network preferably on the Dutch market;
Self-strater with innovative and ambition;
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
Excellent command of the Dutch and English language.
