Job Description

Stroom has helped them with the search of several Category Managers and Supply Chain Professionals in Belgium; now we have to find a procurement specialist for the German and Eastern European market. Speaking German is a must!

We are looking for a Category Manager focused on Road Transport & Logistics. You will have to analyse the current road freight and logistics situation, assess the performance of your current suppliers and re-design the value chain together with the Supply Chain Management team.

Within this role you will negotiate with a broad network of road freight suppliers and 3 PL organisations to obtain the right prices but also to maximize OTIF.

Requirements

Profile:

• Total cost of ownership is a crucial focus point, more than just price crunching;
• + 10 years of procurement experience;
• Active knowledge and interest in supply chain;
• Fluent in German and English.

Salary wise they aim at a yearly package of 80-90K + car + broad extralegal package.
