They are looking for a fulltime candidate to fill the position of Global Change Leader, located in Den Hoorn, The Netherlands. This will be a global role driving the Distribution Program. You will report to the Logistics Development Manager.

 

Job Description

Your mission
As Global Change Leader you will be responsible to drive the global Distribution Program by operational improvement through working on a portfolio of initiatives aimed at:
• Improved operational efficiency.
• Improved financial performance.
• Maximizing environment, health and safety work practices.
• Improved quality of the operations.
• Ensuring operational compliance with defined processes.
• Ensuring logistics operations are performed according to common way of working principles.
• Training logistics operations in the correct process.

Main responsibilities
Process Improvement:
• Problem solving and prioritizing issues identified with the Logistics Operations area and working with formal and informal teams to develop solutions that can work across the region.
• These initiatives will cover areas identified in improving operational efficiency, financial performance, quality, EHS, and processes through.
• Identifying and collating Issues
• Quantifying size, impact and value of existing issues to prioritize work.
• Reviewing scope of work to be undertaken.
• Designing improvements.
• Testing and quantifying improvements.
• Implementing improvements and managing change expectations.
• Monitoring performance to ensure continued compliance.

Process Compliance and Alignment:
• Ensure all Logistics Operations sites are adhering to documented processes.
• Where required aligning and correcting sites to use common process

Requirements

A University degree preferably in supply chain management, logistics, engineering or business administration. You have in depth and up-to-date knowledge of supply chains and market trends and a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience; e.g business process management, project manager experience, supply chain experience, continuous improvement coordination. You have proven management/ leadership skills on tactical and global level. A Lean Black Belt is meritorious.
You have good understanding of supply chain processes, have strong business acumen and the ability to drive the Distribution Program.
You need to efficiently work with people in different locations and time zones, communicate with people on different levels and in different part of the organization as well as outside. Extensive traveling of 25 – 40 % may be required. Next to that you will be capable of operating successfully in a multi-cultural and matrix organization while being proactive and a result-oriented team player. You are a solid business partner on all levels, flexible and customer service oriented.
