Job Description

For the Distribution Centers of a client located in Tilburg and Breda (NL) we are looking for a fulltime: Customer Service Coordinator

The customer service coordinator is a new role in the organization in which you will serve as the intermediate between the internal organization and the largest customer with a lot of stakeholders. You will follow up on requests from customers with your colleagues and report on progress of requests. You monitor the overall quality delivered by the operations and ensure the quality remains at the highest level to ensure full customer satisfaction.

Key activities:
• Receive and follow up on customer requests
• Create and maintain excellent relationship with customer’s stakeholders
• Explaining of logistics operation challenges and improvements to customer
• Challenge operational teams to continuously improve
• Analyze KPI reports and initiate improvement plans
• Prepare weekly and monthly customer meetings
• Forecast vs capacity expectation management
• Peak season preparations
• Active participant in meetings with customer, during some of which you will serve as chairperson or be in charge of meeting minutes

Requirements

For this role we are looking for a candidate who has a very strong customer orientation, a positive and enthusiastic mindset, persuasion, passion for logistics and strong motivation. A person who will independently serve as main contact for the customer, has the capabilities to build up a strong relationship with all stakeholders involved and provide outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate has experience with serving a customer with high standards. You get energy from building up a strong network and are able to work independently. Since this role is new in the organization they are looking for a person who is keen to build the team and determine the team’s position in the organization with us, a true pioneer.

• Bachelor (HBO) education in logistics, supply chain management or communication
• Minimum 3 year of experience in (logistics) customer service in a fast paced environment
• Analytical skills
• MS Office skills
• Assertive personality
• Customer orientated
• Excellent communication skills in English in both speaking and writing, knowledge of Dutch language is preferred but not necessary
• Curious, eager to learn and pro-active attitude
• Constructive problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests and responsibilities in a fast paced environment
• Team player, built and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders on different levels in the organization
• Stress resistant

Your working location will be the distribution center in Tilburg. Occasional travel to locations in Breda and Delft will be required.
