As a Demand Planner you will be responsible for demand planning and managing inventory, utilizing the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for our CCS Division.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare forecast at SKU level for assigned group of products per sales channel, using MS Excel and SAP APO. Maintain current and long term forecast to drive inventory planning requirements.
Provide inventory analysis, including active, excess and obsolete (E&O), per business guidelines and standardized tools to ensure inventory levels are in line with the business segment budget and goals.
Analyze and distribute monthly reports related to KPI’s – inventory, E&O, forecast accuracy and others.
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to gain all necessary information to calculate accurate forecast and to resolve any issues.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
University Degree, preferably in business, finance or supply chain
1-3 years of experience in demand planning or supply planning, or production planning, or sales forecasting (preferably in FMCG or CPG – Consumer Packaged Goods sector)
Good command of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and advanced skills in Excel
Detail oriented with the ability to analyze and understand large volumes of data
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of SAP APO and other demand management/forecasting tools
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to influence various departments within the business without direct authority
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
