Our client is an international Retail and E-commerce company with their headquarters based in Amsterdam. They are well known for their luxury brand and customer experience.

As an E-fulfilment Specialist you are responsible for projects aiming to provide the best supply chain service to online consumers. E-commerce is the fastest growing line of business within the company and therefore there is a need to find someone who is able to multi task, is flexible and resilient to keep track of the very dynamic and fast changing ecommerce environment. Furthermore, you are responsible for managing the daily fulfilment operations and transport of the global Omnichannel orders.

Job Description

The E-fulfilment specialist is the project manager for e-commerce supply chain related projects. Also you are controlling and managing the daily operations for the e-commerce warehouse locations and e-commerce carriers over the world, focusing on on-time deliveries with excellent service.

Your work is focusing on:

  • Design local hero carrier networks in growing markets;
  • Be more cost efficient in markets;
  • Leverage a data driven way of working to improve performance;
  • Roll out omni services in all countries;
  • Managing the different marketplaces globally (such as TikTok, WeChat, Mango);
  • Expanding business in new markets by setting up new warehouses and logistic flows.

You are a key user for several IT systems (e.g. OMS, TMS). You support Omnichannel stores with in-store picking or shipping-from-store. The goal is to continuously signal improvement opportunities in the existing Omnichannel supply chain processes to drive KPI performance up.

We are looking for someone who is eager to take that extra step in creating the perfect delivery proposition to the customers. Good is not enough, the goals is to keep customers surprised by the level of service.

Other than that, you collaborate with the Webshop team, Marketing, Planning, BAM Omnichannel (IT) and Finance team. You work strongly together with the Customer Care team for e-commerce supply chain related questions. Also you are the first point of contact for the LSP’s, carriers, local fulfilment teams (US & HK).

You reach out to suppliers to collect relevant performance data and work together with Business Application Management Omnichannel on further improvements of the Omnichannel tools.

Both internal and external stakeholder management is a huge part of your job.

Requirements

  • You have a HBO/WO in Logistics or Business Administration;
  • You have at least 3 years of work experience in a similar role;
  • You have logistics experience, worked with E-com warehouses and carriers;
  • You maintain strong stakeholder and relationship management capabilities;
  • You are eager to learn, you are able to think out-of-the-box and curiosity to investigate and provide further continuous improvements to existing processes;
  • You have an interest in Omnichannel / New Retail;
  • You have affinity with systems and will quickly master key systems such as DAX (ERP), OMS & TMS.
