Therefore, they are happy to announce the opening of a position in the Ridderkerk (Ocean freight) office to support the growth and to join an excellent team of professionals.

Job Description

You will be working in an international environment within a multicultural team. In this role you will be responsible for:

• In daily contact with the clients by phone, email for the Ocean freight division
  • Making Quotations & follow up

• Maintain the relationship with the overseas offices

• Support the outside sales team with follow up of visits and new prospects
• Prospecting new customers, in close cooperation with the outside sales
  • Actively contacting new sales leads
  • Making appointments for outside sales to new prospects
• Main contact for the operational team concerning commercial decisions
• Reporting of activities done by both inside sales and outside sales
  • Weekly reports of performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work of 3 years’ experience in sales and/or logistics
• Outstanding knowledge of Word & Excel
• Fluent in written and spoken Dutch & English
• You are a team player, accurate and efficient
• And have good sales knowledge
• Team player with the flexibility and desire to work in a dynamic and faced paced environment with high volumes
• Excellent trouble shooting skills with the ability to resolve operational problems effectively and proactively
• Communicative and can get along well with diverse personalities and cultures, tactful and flexible
• Determined/persistent to achieve department goals and hands-on approach
