Job Description
The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of perpetual inventory transaction activities and report systems involving Finished Goods product. The Supervisor shall coordinate, direct and ensure reconciliation of SOX compliant cycle count programs for the Logistics controlled Distribution Centers, as well as inventory audits and applicable reconciliation of discrepancies. Additionally, the Supervisory is responsible for Inventory systems security and software access, data base maintenance, and specific system applications. The inventory Supervisor is also responsible for control of the returns and quarantine operations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
▪ Supervises Inventory Control department activities including Team Member time and attendance, and performance management. Makes recommendations as to the employment status of Team Members assigned to production roles.
▪ Ensures Team Members maintain currency to and are trained in all relevant instructions and procedures in the conduct of their employment and subject matter content.
▪ Reviews and approves perpetual inventory transactions including transfers and adjustments.
▪ Coordinates cycle count/physical inventory programs to include initiation and reconciliation of all applicable reporting. Receives internal/external auditors and prepares, reviews, and submits audit requests for all applicable DCs to said internal and external audit teams.
▪ Monitoring and maintaining the ABCD classification periodically.
▪ Ensuring we have available capacity in various storage locations across the warehouse, adapting when needed.
▪ Responsible for oversite of metric and status reporting of ancillary DCs as applicable.
▪ Interfaces with Product Engine, Marketing, Finance, Regulatory and other Supply Chain colleagues to effect successful product introductions, launches and withdrawals.
▪ Assists in preparing and controlling departmental budget.
▪ Acts as application coordinator for ERP system; SAP
▪ Assists with daily departmental functions as necessary including, but not limited to: Inventory audits, discrepancy reconciliation, preparation of shipments, inventory movements, interplant transfers, disposition of expired, obsolete, damaged, etc. product, and projects.
▪ Leads, guides, and trains employees in Inventory function.
▪ Day-to-day supervision of employees which includes time and attendance and performance management
▪ Ensure team members are up to date and trained to perform assigned functions.
▪ Insures appropriate training of employees in the areas of GMP, EHS, and Quality Systems.
Requirements

▪ Advanced knowledge of distribution and inventory concepts around product movement, disposition, business processes, and relevant industry compliance.
▪ Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects successfully. Ability to prioritize personal workload to maintain company initiatives and applicable timelines.
▪ Effective oral, written, and presentation communications. Able to author effective presentations for management. English and Dutch languages.
▪ Strong customer focus and negotiation skills.
▪ Has ability to build and develop professional relationship both internally. Able to work within a team environment not only within the organization unit, but also across departments, shifts, and other functional areas.
▪ Ability to supervise and engage staff with leadership and motivational skills to expedite completion of critical project tasks.

Education/Experience Requirements
▪ Extensive knowledge and proficiency with multiple software and mainframe application, using Microsoft Office Suite and statistical analysis; advance knowledge of distribution, inventory and business systems. Experience in validation testing is strongly preferred.
▪ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other technical field is required.
▪ Minimum of 5-7 years in Distribution, Logistics, Supply Chain, or other relevant environment. Experience in Supply Chain Management preferred.
▪ A minimum of one (1) year experience supervising. 3+ years preferred.
▪ Medical Device or other regulated environment experience strongly preferred.
Travel Requirements
▪ Ability to travel 5-10% of the time depending on projects and needs
