Job Description

As Logistics Coordinator, you’ll help send and receive goods by land, sea and air in the most efficient way possible. With your help, this company will set new standards for the way they work to provide a service the customers deserve. You’ll be the main point of contact for the business and supply chain partners for requests and logistics management queries as you play an important role in their wider operations team.

Based at their EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp near Amsterdam and reporting to Bart, Logistics and Customs Manager, as part of the role you’ll:

  • Improve the  operating procedures and monitor deliveries.
  • Forecast warehouse requirements with a 12-month plan.
  • Develop the sample process from order collection to delivery and invoicing.
  • Act as an SAP key user to test and introduce improvements.
  • Make sure the logistics spend is on budget and handle associated admin.

More about you

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a supply chain or logistics-related subject.
  • At least 3 years experience in an international business.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong knowledge of import and export processes and customs regulations.
  • Track record working with ERP systems, SAP is considered a bonus.
