Job Description

For the Local Distribution Center (LDC) of this client located in Breda (NL) we are looking for a fulltime: Logistics coordinator (Transportation Team)

Execute daily transport related operations for one of clients key customers. Responsible for monitoring outbound operations, customer service and act as resolute problem solver. Be the first and main contact for the customer and their customers for day to day operations.

Key activities:
• Person in charge from delivery order receipt in the system up and until delivery of the goods at the delivery address (both business to business and business to consumer)
• Make and process delivery appointments (e-mail, booking portals and system)
• Manage/monitor all in-transit shipments together with contracted carriers
• Daily reporting about anomalies during transport towards customer
• Chase pending in-transit shipments together with carriers and get the confirmation of delivery into the system
• Validate carrier KPI’s
• Solve complaints/anomalies
• Pro-actively act/inform customers on outbound progress
• (Transport related) administrative tasks

Requirements

For this role we are looking for a candidate with a positive and enthusiastic mindset, passion for logistics and strong motivation. A person who will independently serve as main contact for the customer, has the capabilities to build up a strong relationship with all stakeholders involved and provide outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is a decisive and flexible problem-solver with a strong hands-on mentality that is used to work in teams, but can also work independently.

• Logistics Bachelor (at least common ground with Logistics)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Assertive personality
• Customer orientated
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both speaking and writing
• Curious, eager to learn and pro-active attitude
• Constructive problem solving skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests and responsibilities in a fast paced environment
• Team player, built and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders involved
• Ability to swiftly shift between different tasks
• Stress resistant
• Performs under pressure (during month end the number of delivery requests follows rapidly)
