Job Description

We are looking for a talented Logistics Manager who can help our client to take their logistics flows to new heights and contribute to the further growth of this great company.

As a Logistics Manager you will be responsible for optimizing their logistic flows within Europe, predominantly in Belgium.  In this role, you wille have the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated professionals and be the point of contact for all logistic matters within the company.  Additionally, you will be the driving force behind the execution of various projects and will have the opportunity to challenge and improve existing processes.  You will be the single point of contact for external partners and closely monitor KPIs.

The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and negociation skills, both internally and externally. You are a true people manager who can inspire and motivate your team to achieve sucesses together and are not afraid to jump into the operation when necessary. In this key role, your report directly to the managing director.

Requirements

To be eligible as a candidate for this challenging position you

• have a track record of a least 5 years of experience in logistics management (transport, warehousing, forwarding)
• have first-line management experience
• are fluent in English and French, and preferably Dutch as well
• have a bachelor’s or master’s degree
• have experience with ERP systems
• have experience with tenders (not necessary, but a plus)
