Therefore, they are happy to announce the opening of a position in their Ridderkerk (Ocean freight) office to support their growth and to join an excellent team of professionals.

Outside Sales Employee 


Job Description

You will be working in an international environment within a multicultural team. The Benelux office is a rapid growing company with a high-end reputation in service and customer approach. Therefore, they are looking to expand the outside sales team, your key tasks will be:

  • Acquisition of new business for our Ocean freight department
    • Focus on Ocean sales (FCL / LCL)
    • Prospecting new customers to introduce KWE
    • Prepare quotations and follow up
  • Closing deals to establish your own customer portfolio
  • Closely working with our departments (air, ocean) to offer best in class service to new customer
  • Maintaining relationships with the overseas offices and partners
  • In cooperation with the inside sales team agree on a sales plan
  • Reporting of activities in the CRM system (sales reports)


  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work of 3 years’ experience in sales and/or logistics
  • Outstanding knowledge of Word & Excel
  • Fluent in written and spoken Dutch & English
  • You are a team player, accurate and efficient
  • And have an outstanding sales background
  • Team player with the flexibility and desire to work in a dynamic and faced paced environment with high volumes
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills with the ability to resolve operational problems effectively and proactively
  • Communicative and can get along well with diverse personalities and cultures, tactful and flexible
  • Determined/persistent to achieve department goals and hands-on approach
