The Planner/Buyer is a line function in the department Supply Chain and reports to the Team Leader, Planner/Buyers. The Planner/Buyer manages the demand, it’s customer orders and all remaining activities such as operational purchasing, planning and logistics, in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.

The Planner/Buyer secures that the products can be manufactured according to the planning and are delivered on time and in full to the customer.

Job Description

  • Responsible for order intake of customer orders in ERP system, according agreed quantities and price
  • Arrange transport and prepare shipment documents incl. necessary export documents according import/export legislation
  • Invoicing of shipped batches or services
  • Follow up order progress and communication to the customer
  • Receipt of customer complaints and follow up according SOP/WI
  • Enter MPS- and work orders based on optimal batch size, delivery dates, raw material availability and production capacity, based on standard lead time
  • Calculate and communicate forecast reliability to BM
  • Allocation of production needs to and release of process orders
  • Provide production related documentation and detailed scheduling (0-2 weeks) to production, warehouse and quality department
  • Ensure that raw material and production aids are available and released in the right time and quantities to support production plan
  • Coordinate with suppliers for any delayed or expedited shipments to meet operational needs
  • Align and prioritize scheduling changes through various systems (ERP, APS) and involved departments

Requirements

  • HBO/University level in Logistics Management or equivalent relevant experience
  • 0-4 years working experience in supply chain;
  • Experience with MRP-systems and MS office
  • Written and verbal English language
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Knowledge of problem solving techniques
  • Good communicating skills, verbal and in writing
  • Familiar with planning- and logistic concepts
