Job Description

Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.

Key responsibilities:

• Production planning, in order to :
  • Creating and maintaining production schedules.
  • Meet service-level target
  • Daily monitoring of production progress against planning
  • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
  • Schedule shift according to production needs
  • Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time
  • Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
  • Obtain output information in SAP & excel (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
  • Prepare and submit status and performance reports
  • Keep paperwork organized
  • Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff
• Coordination with Manufacturing team:
  • Initiate and follow up meeting with production
  • introduce stock corrections and take the necessary initiatives to improve stock
  • cooperate in projects about stock reduction, Lean Manufacturing, Supply Continuity, …
  • Be part of the daily meetings
  • Coordinate production workflow
• Follow up on service level issues and back order & priority list:
  • Follow up with Global distribution planner on distribution issues
  • Organize and initiate meetings with the global supply planners
  • Notify export team & Sales of any schedule impacts to customers
• Safety:
  • respect the valid instructions and procedures
  • make up proposals for improvement of the safety level (IR and Seal)
  • report accidents and incidents according to the procedure

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Logistics, or related discipline
• 5-8 years of experience with demonstrated results in Operations, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management,
• High proficiency with SAP (R/3, SAP APO and SAP BW/BEX reports) and MS Excel, Access
• APICS certification preferred.
• Very good knowledge of Dutch and English
