Job Description

As a Solutions Design Manager, you represent the organization at management level to clients, whereby you analyze the commercial needs of the clients and thereafter develop a satisfying operational solution together with the Business Development team.

  • Solution Design
  • Representing our client towards operational stakeholders at (potential) customers
  • Exploring the most effective solutions (with prospects) for complex issues and providing subsequent advice on the best possible innovative solutions in close co-operation with Business Development Managers
  • Leading the technical and operational design of new business
  • Designing robust and technically feasible logistics solutions for new business in warehousing and transportation
  • Supporting local logistics teams with solutions for supply chain processes
  • Extend existing customer relations based on consultative selling Sourcing
  • Building logistics networks (freight networks, e.g. gateways, multi-client consolidation)
  • Source appropriate sub-contractors for specific solutions, customer-centric or generic
  • Sub-contractor evaluation and management Pricing
  • Based on customer needs and our clients’ added values, create tailor-made product propositions
  • Creating generic market-ready products (network transport, multi-modal corridors etc.)


We are looking for a solutions design manager with:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in SCM & Logistics study
  • Operational experience of the industry is a must, experience in a client-faced role a plus
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience
  • Project management experience


  • Technical knowledge in a logistic environment
  • Conceptual and analytical thinking;
  • Commercial awareness
  • Hands-on mentality, eager to take initiative new opportunities and deliver targets
  • A good doses of courage for exploring this new adventure with us
