Job Description

As a Supervisor you are responsible for coordinating the logistics process in our Warehouse. In addition to coordinating, you also contribute to improvements and optimization of the logistics process. All teams must achieve the predetermined targets and KPI’s on a daily basis. Starting your shift, you check whether the planning is feasible and what is going on in the warehouse. You check the data from the previous day and/or shift, based on this information you decide whether the targets and KPIs need to be adjusted and whether additional staff is needed.

Throughout the day you plan, coordinate and monitor, so you gain a lot of knowledge about logistics processes and how this can be done better, faster and more efficiently. Based on this, you can prepare reports and present your ideas.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinating the logistics process;
• Optimizing the logistics process;
• Keeping track of schedule;
• Keep track of KPIs and targets;
• Managing and adjusting the logistics processes;
• Update progress reports;
• Coaching and motivating staff;
• Point of contact for questions and problems.

Requirements

As a Warehouse Supervisor, it is important that you can think in terms of processes. In addition to working with processes, you will also have to deal with people a lot. You are therefore someone who communicates strongly and values team spirit.
Furthermore you:
• Have mbo/hbo working and thinking level;
• Have relevant work experience, preferably in logistics;
• Have knowledge of Excel and/or SAP;
• Have good knowledge of the English language, verbally and written;
• Open to travel to our site in Heijen (Gennep) the first month for training.
