About the client

As a Master Planner, you will develop and implement precise production & material planning to achieve our operational goals. You ensure that we meet customer demand while optimizing our resources and minimizing costs. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager (functional) and the Production Plant Manager (operational). Your duties will primarily take place at our production facility in Bladel (NL) and our Warehouse in Turnhout (BE)

About the job

• Schedule and plan the master planning sheet: product and component needs over multiple locations worldwide
• Develop and maintain production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and production efficiency
• Collaborate with various cross-functional teams such as production, procurement, logistics, and sales to coordinate planning strategies
• Analyze production data and identify trends for process improvements
• Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory while ensuring uninterrupted supply to meet customer requirements
• Identify risk and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions to production schedules
• Utilize ERP systems (Dynamics 365 F&O) and other planning tools for data-driven decision-making
• Propose and support improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage On-Time In Full (OTIF), response time, and lead time

Job requirements

• You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience
• You have experience in capacity and material planning (min. 3-5 years) in a production environment. Experience in forecast and demand planning is not required, but we expect the willingness to further develop in this aspect as part of this role
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced planning tools (e.g. F&O Microsoft Dynamics 365, MRP systems)
• You know how to express yourself fluently in English and Dutch
• You have strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
• You are an organizational talent with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• You are flexible to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
